Meig's Point, Hammonassett State Park in Madison, CT - after a feeding frenzy on the beach, the birds flock over to the rock jetty for a little rest and sun. And this pair took over their own rock out ahead of the others.

  1. Nice to know that in theory wildlife can behave for the camera! I just wish I had the patience to find such a shot. Especially with birds!

  6. God, this is amazing. I shoot a lot of bird pictures, but never have I managed to capture the emotion of this scene. Wonderful on so many levels!

    New theme is up, too...I'll bet you can make magic out of this one, as well.
